Hand woven Pashmina Shawl / Scarf / Stole - Steel Grey Kani
Handmade in its strictest sense, this fine pure wool shawl / stole, is handwoven in the Kanihama village in Kashmir, giving the weave its name of 'Kani'. The fabric is made of fine wool, lightweight and fine enough to pass through the gap between the thumb and the index finger.
The abstract weave design in silver on a deep grey base builds on geometric patterns, common motif in the arts in the sub-continent. The size of this shawl / stole, is just right to be used as a wrap around or a scarf to be worn round the neck or draped like a dupatta.
Dry clean only. Do not wash.
