Handwoven Pashmina Shawl / Scarf / Stole - Black Kani
Handmade in its strictest sense, this ultra fine pure wool shawl / stole, is handwoven and embroidered in the Kanihama village in Kashmir, giving the weave its name of 'Kani'. The fine thread embroidery is done after the weaving is completed. The fabric is made of ultra fine wool, lightweight and fine enough to pass through the gap between the thumb and the index finger.
The embroidery incorporates paisley and floral patterns, which is a prominent, motif amongst the arts in the sub-continent. The size of this shawl / stole, is just right to be used as a wrap around or a scarf to be worn round the neck or draped like a dupatta.
Dry clean only. Do not wash.
